Important Updates for Medical and Dental Carrier Changes effective January 1, 2023

As you are aware, the carriers we use for Medical and Dental coverage are changing as of January 1, 2023. You recently participated in this change through Suntuity’s Open Enrollment Process.

As we begin 2023, we want to ensure you have important information readily available.

Benefit Plan Administrators (BPA) is responsible for the administration of your employer-provided health benefits program. We are excited about this new partnership. Below you will find information and instructions for accessing resources available to benefit health plan members.


  • BPA is responsible for benefits questions.
  • Cigna is providing access to their network as well as pre-authorization of services and processing your claims.
  • Ask your doctor’s office if they are part of Cigna’s PPO Choice Fund.
  • Once you receive your new identification card, please make sure to update your pharmacy and physician’s office with a copy of the new card.
  • New Cards are being printed and distributed during the next two weeks. If you have not received your card by Saturday, January 7, 2023, or have an immediate need after January 1, 2023, please contact We can provide your member number for coverage if needed.
  • You will also be able to register on the BPA website which will allow you to print cards in the future and review new claims. This will be available January 1, 2023.

To search for a medical provider online, please follow the steps below:

  • Go to
  • Click Find a Doctor, Dentist, or Facility at the top of the page
  • Choose Employer or School under “How are you Covered?”
  • Enter your Search Location
  • Choose how you would like to search: Doctor by Type, Doctor by Name, or Health Facilities
  • Enter your Search Criteria
  • Choose Continue as a guest
  • Enter where you live and click Continue
  • Select the plan PPO, Choice Fund PPO


Physical cards will not be mailed but can be accessed by registering on the Guardian website. There you can also view your ID cards electronically or print physical copies. If you need to exercise your coverage, please contact the Tarpey Group at (888) 235-3275.

To search online for a participating provider:

  • Go to
  • At the top, go to “Connect with us” and select Find a provider
  • Enter your search criteria – for Plan Type, choose PPO: DentalGuard Preferred
  • Click Search
